Limited Edition:
The limited Edition of the single comes in a special 2CD package, which then doesnt come with 2 CDs. The one CD found in there is absolutely identical to the CD found in the normal Circuitry single. Both even have the same catalogue numbers! So actually the only difference between the limited and unlimited version are the packaging and the front cover (actually the unlimited edition has the lyrics and a few more McKean graphics in the booklet, which the limited doesnt have).
So then why did this happen? The answer seems to be that the limited version was planned as a 2CD version, but Offbeat decided to focus on the Hard Wired album shortly, and so released the HW limited edition Box, which consisted of the HW album, and - surprise - a bonus disc labeled "Circuitry Disc 2". (Info on this bonus disc can be found on the Hard Wired Box Set page).
Review
Circuitry was eagerly awaited by FLA fans. It would be the first indication of what changes had been made to the sound since the Millenium album. Firstly, yes it has guitars, but they are much more integrated now and fit in with the song much better. It's still hard and fast but has all the trademark programming and electronics. The CD is also the first on the Offbeat label and is probably the best single package FLA have ever had. Mainly due to the CD ROM file included that has pictures and information plus the FULL Millenium video as an avi file! We also get treated to two very good remixes. The first by Biosphere that is an instrumental trance like mix and the second by the acclaimed Germans Haujobb who have produced a very interesting remix. The B-side track Epidemic is also pretty good and I think the overall package won back a lot of the disgruntled FLA fans.

FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY
CIRCUITRY (Off Beat)
GREAT days for all spiky cyberpunk worshippers of the maple leaf, great days indeed. ...[T]he welcome return to form of Front Line Assembly after their disastrous flirtation with glam metal (not so very glam in their hands, we're afraid).
"Circuitry" sees FLA back with full-on electronica, the ultra-heavy guitars treated as bludgeons rather than sex aids for the lost and lonely. Bleeps, blasts, shrieks, death rattles and sweet, soaring keyboards - oh yes. things are as they should be (once again).
Reviewer unknown, but probably THE STUD BROTHERS
